SPLUGEN 3L D-DRY® JACKET is the Dainese motorcycle jacket designed for long road and off-road trips.

Maximum functionality and versatility for every route and climate are given by the three layers of which it is composed. Splugen 3L D-Dry® was created to guarantee comfort and safety in all seasons. The removable waterproof lining in D-Dry® fabric and the thermal layer protect against the coldest temperatures, while the ventilation, which can easily be opened with one hand using the Uno Touch™ Air Vent system, makes it suited to even the hottest days.

The 6 large external pockets, 4 front and 2 on the back, give you all the space you need to carry everything you need for a trip on any terrain. Safety is guaranteed by the level 2 Pro-Armor protectors, type B on elbows and shoulders, for maximum protection, ventilation and coverage area.

Dainese Magic Connection™ technology features a magnetic system that allows compatible Dainese gloves to be secured conveniently to the jacket, so they’re always to hand and don’t get lost when refueling or during short stops.

A SHIELD FROM WATER AND WIND​

D-Dry® is a technology that provides optimum impermeability to water and air. Its elevated breathability ensures the evaporation of perspiration in all weather conditions.

DESIGNED FOR INFINITE JOURNEYS​

Highly-durable fabrics ensure superior abrasion resistance on most exposed areas, while maintaining a very flexible construction.

THE MOST ERGONOMIC PROTECTION​

Pro-Armor is a patented Dainese technology that enables the protector to simultaneously achieve both a high level of protection and extreme flexibility, replicating the body’s biomechanics by maintaining extreme mobility and coverage. Pro-Armor utilizes an innovative design language inspired by fractals, a pattern found in nature where it is repeated in different scales.

THERMAL INSULATION ON AND OFF THE BIKE​

The thermal lining ensures high heat insulation, maintaining a steady internal temperature. The high quality construction and prestigious materials used allow for the weight and thickness of Dainese linings to be reduced without altering their thermal capacities and riding comfort.

3-LAYER CONSTRUCTION TO FACE ANY CONDITION​

The 3L construction makes the garment extremely functional and versatile, in all seasons. Both the removable waterproof lining and the thermal layer protect ther rider against colder temperatures, while large ventilation openings on the outer shell make it suitable even for hotter climates.

DESIGNED TO ADAPT TO THE OUTER CLIMATE​

The Separated Collar Fastening, can be opened with one hand, also while using gloves, allowing the garment to adapt to all weather and preferences.

THE PERFECT VENTILATION, IN ALL CONDITIONS​

One single finger can open the chest air ports, without any effort, also while using gloves and riding, thanks to the Uno Touch™ Air Vents system.

THE HIGHEST VERSATILITY TO FACE ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS​

The main front opening of the jacket is a foldable flap. It can be operated with one single hand while riding and allows to easily uncover a wide ventilation panels, exactly where increased air flow to the body is needed the most.

GREATER VENTILATION TO RIDE EVEN IN THE HOTTEST CLIMATES​

The Rear Neck air vent positioned on the nape, made in soft neoprene, ensures ventilation on one of key areas, especially when riding in the hottest climates. The flap can be easily openend with one single hand, also while riding and when using gloves, by detaching the strap and folding it inside the jacket.

These garments have been designed with a simple priciple: all regulations, ventilation ports and zippers are meant to be fully operated with one single hand, also when wearing gloves.

The Dainese Magic Connection® technology is a magnetic system that allows compatible Dainese gloves to be secured conveniently to the jacket. This way gloves are always in reach and don’t get lost when refueling or during short stops.

HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF

CHEST

Chest circumference

The measurement of the chest in its maximum extension during normal breathing, measured with the person standing, passing the measuring tape horizontally around the torso over the scapula bones (the shoulder blades) and just under the armpits.

Sleeve length from shoulder (arm straight)

The distance from the most protruding point of the shoulder to the wrist (on the end of the Ulna bone), measured with the arm relaxed at the person's side.

NECK

Neck circumference

The circumference measured at 2 cm below the Adam's apple in the front, and at the 7th cervical vertebra in the back (i.e. NOT horizontally).

Waist circumference

The circumference measured horizontally around the waist, just above the highest point of each of the iliac crest bones, during normal breathing, on the person standing, with a relaxed abdomen.
